Today's to-do list:
Wake to tractor powered jackhammer removing asphalt at 7AM. Check.
Metro. Check.
Sneak under the gate at the Metro because we lost our tickets. Check.
Walking. Check.
Notre Dame. Check.
Pont Neuf (oldest bridge in Paris). Check.
The no-parent-play park, where we were prisoners for an hour (locked behind gate). Check.
More walking. Check.
Pompidou Center. Check.
Jewish Quarter, where we walked along the first paved street in Paris. Check.
Falafel. Check.
Challah. Check.
Picasso Museum. Closed. For three years. Check.
Found my mom some TALL boots. Check.
Nap at the shoe boutique (really, see photo). Check.
More Walking. Check.
Metro. Wrong Metro. Check.
More walking. Check.
The Seine. Check.
Ice cream. Check.
Louvre. Postponed 'till tomorrow.
Metro home. Check.
Painting watercolors on the hotel floor. Check.
Tired feet. Check.
Jet lag. Check.
Falling asleep in the bath. Check.
Goodnight. Check.

    i am nervous.
    glad you are calling it a full day.
    those french have a lot of stamina, it is the espresso!
    how is the metro? what was dinner? getting out of jet lag yet? what time can i skype you?
